Focus on Typhoon Morakot, "Timeless Rain" was exhibited in FORMOSA exhibition during June in London, and in February was exhibited in "Chasing Oneders" ,Photo-Space gallery in London.

“Time is running with rain and river. Time is stuck with rain and river as well.” Whilst recording the ritual of Tsou (Aborigine in Taiwan), Yen-Ting Hsu and her collaborator Yannick Dauby were stranded in the Alishan mountain because of Typhoon Morakot. Such experience has led her to create ‘Timeless Rain’, an exploration of time and a reflection on personal / collective memory.

"Timeless Rain" 以莫拉克颱風為軸，今年六月於倫敦福爾摩沙展覽展出，同年二月已於倫敦Photo-Space "Chasing Oneders"聯展展出。

時間隨著雨和河水流轉。時間也困在雨和河水之中。為了前往鄒族部落的儀式錄音，許雁婷和Yannick Dauby因莫拉克颱風受困阿里山。這個經驗使她創作了Timeless Rain，一個對時間的探索及對個人和集體記憶的反映。

鄒族達邦戰祭 Mayasvi (Ritual of War) in Tapangu

新年好！一晃眼一個年又過去了，年初一上阿里山，在達邦部落參與了為期兩天的鄒族戰祭Mayasvi。不少人問，鄒族是初二辦戰祭嗎？嗯，其實這和漢人的年節沒有關係，這個日期是每年大約七月的小米收穫祭homeyaya後由長老會議制定的，每年都可能不同，只是今年正好在大年初二初三，國曆的二月十五、十六日。相當震撼的經驗，作為今年上工的第一篇，開聽愉快！

二月十五、十六，鄒族達邦Mayasvi（戰祭），這個日期在去年的homeyaya（小米收穫祭）之後由長老會議決定。祭戰神Iafafeoi，傳說中滿口血腥面相猙獰總是盤旋在庫巴上方觀望守護著鄒族的Iafafeoi。他性喜吵鬧，平時極少唱歌舞蹈的鄒族人，這兩天徹夜歌舞，獻祭戰神。

送神儀式的前三個小時，錄音現場在村莊較上頭、離部落中心有些距離的山邊，如瀑的落雨，青蛙奮力地鳴叫，遠方的歌聲在山谷間來回晃蕩，不知道誰應和著誰，在達邦織成錯縱的網盤踞這寧靜的村落。他們唱著古時打仗後回到部落歌頌的Miome，緩慢地踏著僅僅四步的走踏舞步，圍繞著Kuba的火。

Tsou people are indigenous people of Taiwan. Mayasvi is one of the two most important ritual and is dedicated to Iafafeoi, God of War.

The voices are strongly embodied. The dance is quite a simple movement, a kind of collective spiral, which is supporting the energy of music. These songs are spread from the front of Kuba towards the sky, just above, where Iafafeoi is staying. They are also bouncing between the mountains. Raindrops and insects are transforming the calm of the night into a flow of sound particles and the voices of the people of Tapangu are echoing behind, like a curtain surrounding the village.
